Why should I hire a professional photographer?
Now a days, everyone uses their iPhones for photos of the family or kids, or the infamous selfie. But not only do these not capture the pictures that a professional photographer can capture, they also usually need someone to be excluded! Additionally a photography session creates a reason to love yourself a little extra, go out get the mani and pedi, get your hair cut, whatever self love looks like, hiring a professional photographer gives you a reason to do that for yourself!
How much do your sessions cost?
If you head on over to my "investment" tab you will find a list of different sessions and their "start at" prices! This means those are the value of the lowest tier package. If you inquire about the session you want, I will then send you the full package pricing form so you can see the breakdown of different packages and pricing depending on the specific session you are looking to book! The pdf pricing guide also goes over what is included in each package like hours of coverage, amount of images sent to your final gallery etc!
How long will it take for me to get my images?
Turn around time for full galleries can vary a bit depending on the season and how busy it is, as well as the type of session you had! Bigger sessions like weddings or sessions with more people like large families and events tend to take a bit longer to go through and edit. To give you guys a number though I like to promise my clients that they will have their gallery within 2 weeks for typical (smaller) sessions and 4 weeks for bigger sessions! Weddings have a turnaround time of about 6-8 weeks but sneak peeks of your wedding day are sent within 24-48 hours!

Go to my contact page and fill out the form right on the page! You need to fill out name and some way to get in contact with you, preferably email initially. If you want to give details of what you want feel free to indulge as much as you'd like! Though it does help me plan it is not required in this stage!

What to expect during my session?
FUN! Expect a fun and easy going day or couple of hours. Don't even think of it as a photo shoot! We will play some of your favorite music, dance, laugh, play some silly games all while I'm snapping some shots of you being you! And that's the best way to do it!
Of course some of the photos will be more posed to get you those pictures you have saved on your Pinterest boards, but for the most part we will get candid and in the moment shots.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
YES! I can tell you that 90% of my clients say this before our session and the pictures come out beautifully. My favorite phrase is prompted not posed. I will not expect you to strike a pose the second I put you in front of the camera, but I will guide you and give you prompts to do things that are more natural and just like that, MAGIC HAPPENS. Don't let feeling "awkward" ruin your opportunity to create some amazing photos.
How should we dress for our session?
If you do not have an outfit planned out already let me know and I will send a pdf outfit guide to help guide you more specifically, depending on the type of session you are booking.
With that said, I always recommend NEUTRALS. Colors that are neutral or earthy tones, photograph beautifully and do not distract or take away from you as the main subject. If you wear a color that's too bright or a funky pattern, it creates a distraction to the human eye and can even cause distortions in the lens.
